Want to help make camp happen?
We have several opportunities to partner with us and as a 100% volunteer-run and donation-funded ministry, your support means everything to us! While we’re so grateful to Renewal City Church for hosting our ministry, the biggest blessing has been the fact that we’ve had 16 different churches represented by the volunteers who serve at our camp each year. We love seeing the Church come together to show God’s love to these special children in our community!
Camp is on Saturday, July 24 in Longview, WA. Here are some ways we could still use some help:
- Make or sponsor breakfast for campers and volunteers at day camp.
- We’re looking to borrow: pop–up canopies, water cooler beverage dispenser, and rectangular and round tables.
Needs Met!
Thank you to those who have generously loaned or sponsored the below needs!
- Loan or sponsor helium for the birthday party decorations.
- Could you help us get the pizza for our camper birthday party at day camp donated or sponsored?
- Loan or sponsor the rental of a dunk tank for our birthday carnival at day camp.
- We’re looking for a balloon artist/twister volunteer to join us at our birthday carnival at day camp.
Manual labor needed, also!
- One evening a few days before July 24, we’ll need help for about 1 hour loading supplies/boxes into trailers.
- On Friday, July 23 we could use help anywhere from 10AM to 3PM to help unload trailers/setup/decorate camp.
- On Saturday, July 24 from 7:30PM-9PM (after camp is over), we’ll need help packing up camp/loading supplies and boxes into trailers.
- A day or so after camp, we’ll need help for about 1 hour, unloading supplies from trailers back into our storage area.
Pray
Your prayers for the hurting children in foster care, for their caregivers, for our volunteers who serve them, as well as a successful event, would be so appreciated.
